Vanilla Geranium Lip Balm

I'm not sure how else to describe it than "grainy", but it's not a dry particle type of grainy. Maybe "lumpy" is a better word...? It ONLY feels that way when applying it to my lips. Once it's on, it's totally smooth. If you've ever gotten a big jar of coconut oil, over time you might get these tiny spheres that seem sort of hard. You can press them and they break apart and are then smooth. This "grainy" feeling when applying makes me think of something like that.

Other than that, my lips seem to like this lip balm a lot. I have a terrible time with my lips peeling, and I've gone through a lot of different organic lip balms trying to find something that works well for me. I've found a lot of nice ones, but once the balm has worn off, I'm back to square one and have to reapply.

When I started using this one, I was using it in between using others, to see if I could tell the difference throughout the day. This lip balm stays on longer, and it actually seems to condition my lips. And it's not just while I can feel it on my lips after I applied it. My lips are softer and more moisturized even the next morning.

I really would prefer a smooth feel to the application, but not at the loss of the staying power. Maybe some would say that staying power is too much beeswax, but it doesn't feel waxy or clumpy at all on my lips. It doesn't feel super slick and greasy, either, though. It feels just right.

I bought a 3-pack with this Vanilla Geranium as one of the selections, and haven't tried the other two yet. I swear this smells slightly like rose to me - but I'm not a flower person, so maybe this is just what Geraniums smells like. But anyway, I love rose, so I can't wait to try the actual Rose one!

I recommend this scent and all of the scents!
