How is Rose Absolute Oil produced
Obtaining Rose Absolute Oil is a long and delicate process. Our Rose Absolute Oil is extracted from fresh Bulgarian Rosa Damascena blossoms, exclusively picked by hand, early in the morning, before sunrise. The process first yields concrete - a fragrant waxy substance, from which the absolute oil is extracted using a solvent. The solvent is subsequently completely removed, leaving behind the highly concentrated fragrant Rose Absolute Oil.

The special extraction method preserves the fresh floral scent of real Bulgarian Rosa Damascena, making our Rose Absolute ideal for creating complex exquisite floral perfumes. Bulgarian Rose Absolute is a great alternative to those of us who want to use Rose in our aromatherapy blends and cannot afford steam distilled Rose essential oil. I use rose absolute for baking and cooking. When I do wear pi t, I mix it with vetiver, clove and/or cinnamon, rue, amber. I make a mean honey Taffy with rose and clove, it also goes well with raspberries in strudel.
