Zdravetz essential oil

Zdravetz is a small, perennial plant which grows on rocky soil at high and medium altitudes. For centuries this plant has been associated in Bulgarian folk traditions and customs as a symbol of  long life, prosperity, happy return and rejuvenation.

The essential oil distilled from the zdravetz plant has a calming, deodorizing and tonic effect. It could favor the balance of different skin types: oily, dry, combination, and aging. It may help smooth out wrinkles, as well as aid in clearing blackheads and acne.

The aroma of zdravetz essential oil uplifts the spirits and stimulates the body. This oil is also used in perfumery as a fixative.

Skincare/Cosmetic use: normalizing, stimulating, toning, hydrating, protecting

Perfumery: base note/ sweet-woody, herbaceous, spicy.

Blends well with: Rose, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Geranium, Juniper, Ylang-Ylang, Clary Sage, all citrus oils.
