Lavender is one of the most versatile and widely used plants, native to the mountainous Mediterranean (including Bulgaria).

Our high quality organic Bulgarian Lavender essential oil, grown at Alteya's biodynamic plantation, has superior therapeutic and fragrance qualities due to the specific geographic and climate conditions in the area. Our essential oil is extensively used in perfumery, aromatherapy, skincare and cosmetics, as well as for household purposes. In some cases it is a mild preservative.

Skincare/Cosmetic use: moisturizing, nourishing, cleansing, stimulating; suitable for acne, oily skin, burns, bruises, wrinkles, aging skin, cutswounds; promotes hair growth

Perfumery: top to middle note/ fresh, floral-herbaceous with balsamic-woody undertone.

Blends well with: Rose, Pine, Clary sage, Rosemary, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Ylang-Ylang, all citrus oils

Suggested use

Diffuse Bulgarian Lavender essential oil when you need to relieve headache, nausea, or when you have a trouble with falling asleep. Bulgarian Lavender oil would also deodorize stale air or fabrics.

Add Bulgarian Lavender essential oil to a massage blend to soothe pain from different origin – menstrual, muscle, joint, headache…This massage would also help you unwind, relieving tension and stress.

Add Bulgarian Lavender essential oil to a cosmetic product such as a cream or lotion to experience its toninig, soothing, energizing action. It will work to relieve dry skin and itching and will promote faster healing of pimples, cuts, wounds, and bug bites and stings.

Dilute Bulgarian Lavender essential oil into your shampoo. The regular use will cleanse the scalp, increase blood circulation and enhance hair growth.

Add Bulgarian Lavender essential oil to bath salts and enjoy a relaxing bath that will help to relieve a tired and aching body. Lavender essential oil would also combat the harmful effects of contaminants on the skin by inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction.

Best Lavender Oil ever!

I have used Alteya's Lavender Oil for the past several years. There is simply no comparison between Alteya's product and anything else on the market. All it takes is a few drops into a bath to turn my whole master suite into a wonderfully fragranced sanctuary. I have found that I simply cannot do without this product. It is, simply put, heavenly.

This oil is of a very high quality. It smells very nice and intense, which is the first sign of being potent. I use it in my hair masks, body lotion, face/body spray, mix it in my facial night oil treatment, and in vapor. It does help to balance my scalp and to control adult acne, however, it is important to use it regularly. I use it on my face and body daily (mixed into other products), and in a hair mask 2-3 times a week. Also, I used it on a bee sting and my pain was gone in seconds. Used 2 times for a headache and it helped with it as well.
